Today is my baby girl’s 21st birthday. I cannot believe that she has become the exceptional woman that she is today – especially under my guidance. I have never professed to be the best mother in the world, or that I have always done the right thing. Lord knows I have not. I did, however, try to raise her to be kind and loving, to do the right thing, and to have respect for others.
My darling daughter, words can never express the depth of emotion that I feel for you. How my heart aches and my chest tightens every time I think of you reaching a new milestone in your life. I could never express how extremely proud I am of you, and you will never understand how much your presence in my life has meant to me.
I will always love you. Have the best birthday week ever darling.
